A file called partitions.csv is located in the root of the esp-idf project folder. With content similar to:

Edit the contents of the partitions.csv file and run the following commands:

idf.py menuconfig
idf.py partition-table
idf.py build
idf.py -p /dev/ttyUSB0 flash
idf.py -p /dev/ttyUSB0 partition-table-flash

After that do a full flash or flash the individual partitions to their new locations

idf.py -p /dev/ttyUSB0 flash
